Section 3-501 - Definitions(a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.(b) "Chief Executive Officer" means the Chief Executive Officer of Maryland Correctional Enterprises.(c) "Contracting unit" means a unit of State government that is:(1) authorized to contract for goods and services; or(2) responsible for procurement of goods and services.(d) "Management Council" means the Maryland Correctional Enterprises Management Council.(e) "Political subdivision" means a county, municipal corporation, or special taxing district.
