Section 24-205 - Jurisdiction of court that appoints receiverA court that appoints a receiver under this title:
(1) Has exclusive jurisdiction to direct the receiver and determine any controversy related to the receivership or receivership property wherever located within the State, including all controversies relating to:(i) The collection, preservation, improvement, disposition, and distribution of receivership property;(ii) The exercise of the receiver's powers; or(iii) The performance of the receiver's duties; and(2) May, on motion by a party in interest or on its own initiative, assign the receivership to a judge who shall be responsible for the entire case during the course of the receivership.Added by 2019 Md.
