Section 1-407 - Hearings(a) Before denying registration of a mark, the Secretary of State shall give the applicant an opportunity for an informal hearing before the Secretary of State or the Secretary's designee.(b) The denial of registration of a mark is not a contested case under Title 10, Subtitle 2 of the State Government Article.
