Section 32-204 - Salaries; staff

(a)

(1) The chair of the Board shall receive $5,000 annually.

(2) Each other member of the Board shall receive $4,000 annually.

(b) Subject to this section and § 32-205 of this subtitle, the Board may:

(1) employ:

(i) a secretary;

(ii) inspectors; and

(iii) clerical and other assistants as are necessary; and

(2) set the compensation of the employees.

(c)

(1) The Board may designate an attorney for the Board.

(2) The annual salary of the attorney:

(i) is $10,000; and

(ii) shall be provided in the county budget.
