Section 26-2802 - Penalty imposed by Board(a) This section applies to a violation that is cause for suspension or revocation of a license.(b) Instead of or in addition to suspending or revoking the license, the Board may: (1) for a first offense: (i) except as provided in item (ii) of this item, impose a fine not exceeding $1,500; or(ii) for a violation of § 10-117 of the Criminal Law Article, impose a fine of $1,500;(2) for a second offense in the same 24-month period, impose a fine not exceeding $6,000; and(3) for a third offense in the same 24-month period, impose a fine of $7,500.(c) For a fourth offense in the same 24-month period, the Board shall suspend the license for 30 days, unless the Board revokes the license.Added by 2016 Md.
