Section 50-9-40 - License procedures and fees(A) The department shall prescribe the form of the license and method by which licenses, permits, and tags must be distributed and sold.(B) The department shall establish procedures and agreements for allowing license sales vendors to sell and distribute certain department licenses and permits.(C) License and permit fees collected by a license sales vendor, except for any sales vendor's retained fee, must be remitted to the department in the time and manner prescribed by the department.(D) The department may offer to fulfill any privilege for applicants on a card made of durable materials such as plastic or a similar product.
