Section 50-5-300 - Commercial saltwater fishing license requirement for residents; fee; striker exception(A) For the privilege of taking or landing anadromous fish, saltwater fish, or fisheries products for commercial purposes, a resident must obtain a commercial saltwater fishing license for a fee of twenty-five dollars unless specifically exempted in this article. A resident must also obtain a commercial saltwater fishing license for the privilege of selling, exchanging, or bartering such fish or product taken or landed by the resident.(B) To act as a striker, a resident need not acquire a commercial saltwater fishing license.2002 Act No. 342, Section 8; 2000 Act No. 245, Section 2.
