Section 44-43-20 - Age restrictions for blood donors; parental permission(A) A person may lawfully donate blood if he is:(1) at least seventeen years of age; or(2) sixteen years of age and has the written consent of his parent or guardian.(B) A person under eighteen years of age may not sell blood.Amended by 2009 S.C.
