Section 44-24-260 - Child's right to communicate, consult, or visit with agency or person having custody, with counsel, or with private mental health service providerA child who is a patient of a treatment facility at all reasonable times may:
(1) communicate and consult with the agency or individual having legal custody of him;(2) communicate, consult, and visit with legal counsel and private mental health service providers of his parent's or guardian's choice at his own expense. With the consent of the child, and upon request, legal counsel must be provided with copies of the child's treatment records.1991 Act No. 88, Section 1.
