Section 38-73-1220 - Application for license as rating organizationA corporation, an unincorporated association, a partnership, or an individual, whether located within or outside this State, may make application to the director or his designee for a license as a rating organization for the kinds of insurance or subdivisions thereof or, in the case of insurance to which Article 3 of this chapter is applicable, classes of risk or parts or combinations thereof as are specified in its application and shall file therewith:
(1) a copy of its constitution, its articles of agreement or association or certificate of incorporation, and its bylaws, rules, and regulations governing the conduct of its business;(2) a list of its members and subscribers;(3) the name and address of a resident of this State upon whom notices or orders of the director or his designee or process affecting the rating organization may be served;(4) a statement of its qualification as a rating organization.1993 Act No. 181, Section 783; 1962 Code Section 37-722] recodified as Section 38-73-1220 by 1987 Act No. 155, Section 1; 1952 Code Section 37-722; Former 1976 Code Section 38-43-920 [1947 (45) 322.
