Section 904.315 - [Effective Until 7/1/2024] Contracts for improvements1. The director of the department of administrative services shall, in writing, let all contracts for authorized improvements under chapter 8A, subchapter III, costing in excess of the competitive bid threshold in section 26.3, or as established in section 314.1B. Upon prior authorization by the director, improvements costing five thousand dollars or less may be made by the superintendent of any institution.2.
