Section 507F.8 - Cybersecurity event - notification to consumers1. In the event of a cybersecurity event involving nonpublic information a licensee shall comply with the notification requirements pursuant to section 715C.2, and all other applicable notification requirements pursuant to federal or state law.2. If a licensee is required to provide notice of a cybersecurity event to the commissioner pursuant to section 507F.7, subsection 1, the licensee shall submit to the commissioner a copy of the consumer notices provided by the licensee to consumers under this section.Added by 2021 Iowa, ch 79, s 8, eff. 1/1/2022.
