Section 29A.90 - DefinitionsAs used in this subchapter, unless the context otherwise requires:
1."Dependent" means the spouse and children of a service member or any other person dependent upon the service member for support.2."Interest" includes service charges, renewal charges, fees, or any other charges in respect to any obligation or liability.3."Military service" means full-time national guard duty or state active duty, as defined in section 29A.1, for a period of at least thirty consecutive days, commencing on or after April 12, 2012.4."Service member" means a member of the military forces of the state performing military service.2002 Acts, ch 1117, §24, 40; 2002 Acts, ch 1175, §78, 102; 2003 Acts, ch 108, §20, 132; 2004 Acts, ch 1086, §15; 2012 Acts, ch 1072, §20, 43
