Section 45-41-230 - [See note] Salary(a) The annual salary of the Sheriff of Lee County shall be one hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000) which shall be paid in the same manner and at the same time as other county employees.(b) The salary provided in this section shall be in lieu of any other salary provided by general or local law.Ala. Amended by Act 2022-413,§ 1, eff. 4/14/2022, app. effective on the expiration of the term of the incumbent sheriff in January 2023.
