Section 45-40-230 - Salary; cost-of-living adjustments(a) Effective the next term of office, the Sheriff of Lawrence County shall receive the salary the sheriff is receiving on December 28, 2001.(b) Thereafter, the sheriff shall continue to receive any cost-of-living increases granted to county employees which shall be paid in the same manner as provided in Sections 11-2A-1 to 11-2A-8, inclusive.Ala.
