Section 45-23-232 - Deputy sheriff - Receipt of badge and pistol(a) This section shall apply only to Dale County.(b) Any person employed as a commissioned deputy of the Sheriffs Office of Dale County for a period of 10 years or more, who upon retirement leaves the office in good standing, shall receive from the office, without cost to him or her, a retired badge, a retired commission card, and his or her service pistol.Ala.
