Section 41-NEW - [Newly enacted section not yet numbered] State Personnel Director to regularly assess employment requirements for positionsThe State Director of Personnel shall:
(1) Regularly assess the educational, experiential, and training requirements necessary for each classification of positions in the state service.(2) Identify classifications of positions in the state service for which the educational, experiential, or training requirements could be reduced from their present level.(3) Reduce, to the extent practicable, the number of classifications of positions in the state service for which a four-year college degree is required for employment.Ala.
