Section 40-12-275 - Review of personalized license plates issued under this chapter and Chapter 6 of Title 32; appeals(a) The Department of Revenue shall review all personalized license plates issued pursuant to Chapter 6 of Title 32 and Chapter 12 of this title and shall determine whether a requested license plate is issued or renewed in accordance with rules adopted pursuant to Chapter 22 of Title 41.(b) An appeal concerning the denial of the issuance or renewal of a license plate shall be made with the circuit court of the county where the motor vehicle is registered.Ala.
