Section 34-2A-10 - Issuance of license(a) The board shall issue a license to an applicant, on a form provided for that purpose by the board, certifying that the applicant has met the requirements of the laws, rules, and regulations entitling him or her to serve, act, practice, and otherwise hold himself or herself out as a duly licensed assisted living administrator and has paid a fee established by the board pursuant to its rule-making authority for original licensure, provided the applicant meets all of the following qualifications:(1) Has successfully complied with the educational and training requirements of this chapter and of the rules and regulations of the board promulgated under this chapter.(2) Has paid an application fee established by the board pursuant to its rule-making authority for all applicants.(3) Has qualified for and passed the examination provided for in this chapter.(b) The board may establish and collect a fee pursuant to its rule-making authority for the issuance of a temporary emergency permit issued pursuant to Section 34-2A-2.Ala.
