Section 31-5A-11 - Certification process(a) All state veterans nursing homes, domiciliaries, hospitals, or any other health related activities shall be subject to the rules governing the operation of a privately-owned facility or provider of health services in this state, including the certificate of need process and the Department of Public Health Division of Licensure and Certification requirements.(b) Notwithstanding subsection (a), the veterans homes currently located in Alexander City, Bay Minette, and Huntsville, Alabama, are not subject to the certificate of need process.Ala.
