Section 31-5-2 - [Effective 10/1/2024] Established; bureaus and divisions; operation under State Board of Veterans' Affairs; composition

The State Board of Veterans Affairs is established to oversee the State Department of Veterans Affairs. The department shall be composed of a commissioner and other officers and employees authorized to be appointed under this chapterwho meet the qualifications prescribed by the board.
