Section 22-39-3 - Services requiring accreditation by the stateAny person, firm, or corporation, before engaging in the business of any of the following services, must be accredited by this state as specified in this chapter to do any of the following:
(1) Inspect for asbestos-containing material in a school building under the authority of a local educational agency, as defined in 15 U.S.C.A. §2642(7).(2) Prepare a management plan for such a school.(3) Design or conduct response actions, with respect to friable asbestos-containing material in such a school, as such material is defined in 15 U.S.C.A. §2642(6).(4) Inspect for asbestos-containing material, or design or conduct response actions in buildings as defined in 15 U.S.C.A. §2642(10).Ala.
