Ala. Code § 17-3-8.1
Upon receiving the written consent and approval of the county commission and consistent with the annual maximum number of working days authorized under Section 17-3-8, a quorum of a board of registrars of a county may reallocate unused working days from one registrar due to absence to another registrar of that board in order to accomplish the public business of the board.
