Section 16-27A-10 - Nonpayment of civil fine(a) No person may be arrested or incarcerated for nonpayment of a civil fine.(b) A governing body may contract with a collection service for the purpose of collecting any unpaid civil fine authorized by this chapter.Ala. Code § 16-27A-10 (1975)
