Section 13A-9-4 - Forgery in the fourth degree(a) A person commits the crime of forgery in the fourth degree if, with intent to defraud, he or she falsely makes, completes or alters a written instrument.(b) Forgery in the fourth degree is a Class A misdemeanor.Ala. Code § 13A-9-4 (1975)
