Cal. Welf. and Inst. Code § 14151

Current through the 2023 Legislative Session.
Section 14151 - Bills submitted deemed bills against appropriation

Bills for services rendered during the 1970-71 fiscal year to persons other than the beneficiaries under the California Medical Assistance Program submitted to the state by any county which has elected to come within the provisions of Section 14150.1 of the Welfare and Institutions Code are bills against the appropriation for the fiscal year during which the bills are submitted, and shall be submitted not later than 60 days following the start of the 1971-72 fiscal year. The director may, when he finds that delay in the submission of bills was caused by circumstances beyond the control of the county, extend the period of submissions of bills for a period not to extend beyond the end of the 1971-72 fiscal year. State general funds of $27,661,452 are made available from the 1971-72 appropriation to cover the state cost of such bills received. In the event such bills received are less than $27,661,452, the balance remaining may be used for the basic or supplemental schedules of benefits.
