Section 9260 - Fee for temporary registration; fee for trip permit(a) The fee for a temporary registration issued under Section 4004 is one-quarter of the annual fees in Division 3 (commencing with Section 4000) of this code and Part 5 (commencing with Section 10701) of Division 2 of the Revenue and Taxation Code, for the period that the vehicle is to be operated in this state.(b) The fee for a trip permit issued under Section 4004 is forty-five dollars ($45) for each commercial motor vehicle.Amended by Stats 2000 ch 861 (SB 2084), s 47, eff. 9/28/2000.
