Section 5108 - Transfer fee(a) Whenever any person who has been issued environmental license plates applies to the department for transfer of the plates to another passenger vehicle, commercial motor vehicle, trailer, or semitrailer, a transfer fee of forty-three dollars ($43) shall be charged in addition to all other appropriate fees.(b) This section shall become operative on January 1, 2017.Added by Stats 2016 ch 340 (SB 839),s 44, eff. 9/13/2016.
