Section 36638 - [Operative 7/1/2024] Business assessment explained(a) A business assessment pursuant to this part is a fee imposed by a government on the transaction for purposes of paragraph (29) of subdivision (a) of Section 1770 of the Civil Code.(b) This section shall become operative on July 1, 2024.Ca.
