(a) Route 227 is from Route 1 south of Oceano to Route 101 in San Luis Obispo.(b) The relinquished former portions of Route 227 within the Cities of Arroyo Grande and San Luis Obispo are not state highways and are not eligible for adoption under Section 81. For the relinquished former portion of Route 227, the Cities of San Luis Obispo and Arroyo Grande shall maintain within their respective jurisdictions signs directing motorists to the continuation of Route 227 and shall ensure the continuity of traffic flow on the relinquished portion of Route 227, including any traffic signal progression.Ca.
