Section 1811 - Persons who may nominate for proposed conservatee(a) Subject to Sections 1813 and 1813.1, the spouse, domestic partner, or an adult child, parent, brother, or sister of the proposed conservatee may nominate a conservator in the petition or at the hearing on the petition.(b) Subject to Sections 1813 and 1813.1, the spouse, domestic partner, or a parent of the proposed conservatee may nominate a conservator in a writing signed either before or after the petition is filed and that nomination remains effective notwithstanding the subsequent legal incapacity or death of the spouse, domestic partner, or parent.Amended by Stats 2014 ch 913 (AB 2747),s 28, eff. 1/1/2015.Amended by Stats 2000 ch 17 (AB 1491), s 3, eff. 1/1/2001.Amended by Stats 2001 ch 893 (AB 25), s 15, eff. 1/1/2002.
