Section 4530.5 - Confined in state prison(a) For the purposes of punishing escapes or attempts to escape under Section 4530, a person is deemed confined in a "state prison" if they are an adult prisoner confined in the Deuel Vocational Institution.(b) This section shall become inoperative on October 1, 2021, and, as of July 1, 2022, is repealed.Amended by Stats 2021 ch 80 (AB 145),s 13, eff. 7/16/2021.Added by Stats. 1982, Ch. 1104, Sec. 2.
