Section 12693.74 - [See subsection (b) for contingent repeal date] Continued eligibility for 12 month period(a) Subscribers shall continue to be eligible for the program for a period of 12 months from the month eligibility is established.(b)(1) If the voters approve the addition of Chapter 7.5 (commencing with Section 14199.100) to Part 3 of Division 9 of the Welfare and Institutions Code at the November 5, 2024, statewide general election and the conditions described in paragraph (1) of subdivision (b) of Section 12693.74, as added by Section 36 of the act that added this subdivision, have been met, this section shall become inoperative on January 1, 2025, or the date certified by the State Department of Health Care Services pursuant to paragraph (2) of subdivision (b) of Section 12693.74, as added by Section 36 of the act that added this subdivision, whichever is later, and shall be repealed on January 1 directly following that date.(2) If the voters do not approve the addition of Chapter 7.5 (commencing with Section 14199.100) to Part 3 of Division 9 of the Welfare and Institutions Code at the November 5, 2024, statewide general election and the conditions described in paragraph (1) of subdivision (b) of Section 15832, as added by Section 137 of the act that added this subdivision, have been met, this section shall become inoperative on January 1, 2026, or the date certified by the department pursuant to paragraph (2) of subdivision (b) of Section 15832, as added by Section 137 of the act that added this subdivision, whichever is later, and shall be repealed on January 1 directly following that date.Amended by Stats 2024 ch 40 (SB 159),s 24, eff. 6/29/2024.Amended by Stats 2022 ch 47 (SB 184),s 35, eff. 6/30/2022.Added by Stats. 1997, Ch. 623, Sec. 2.
