Section 10734 - Board not subject to licensure or regulation; carriers licensed in good standing(a) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the board shall not be subject to licensure or regulation by the Department of Insurance or the Department of Managed Health Care, as the case may be.(b) Participating carriers that contract with the program shall be licensed and in good standing with their licensing agencies.Amended by Stats 2000 ch 857 (AB 2903), s 69, eff. 1/1/2001.Previously Amended September 28, 1999 (Bill Number: AB 78) (Chapter 525).
