Section 65592 - Definitions Unless the context requires otherwise, the following definitions govern the construction of this article:
(a) "Department" means the Department of Water Resources.(b) "Director" means the Director of Water Resources.(c) "Local agency" means any city, county, or city and county, including a charter city or charter county.(d) "Water efficient landscape ordinance" means an ordinance or resolution adopted by a local agency, or prepared by the department, to address the efficient use of water in landscaping.Amended by Stats 2018 ch 867 (AB 2371),s 4, eff. 1/1/2019.Added by Stats 2006 ch 559 (AB 1881),s 3, eff. 1/1/2007.
