Section 19201 - Conditional approval(a) The Secretary of State may grant conditional approval to a voting system or part of a voting system under either of the following circumstances:(1) A voting system or part of a voting system was decertified as a result of a review by the Secretary of State pursuant to Section 19232.(2) A certified voting system or part of that voting system is modified to comply with voting system standards or changes in statute.(b) The Secretary of State may withdraw conditional approval at any time pursuant to Section 19232.Added by Stats 2013 ch 602 (SB 360),s 13, eff. 1/1/2014.
