Section 716.020 - Execution of writTo execute the writ of sale, the levying officer shall:
(a) Levy upon the property described in the writ of sale in the manner prescribed by Article 4 (commencing with Section 700.010) of Chapter 3 of Division 2 for levy under a writ of execution.(b) Except as otherwise ordered by the court, give notice of sale and sell the property described in the writ of sale in the manner prescribed by Article 6 (commencing with Section 701.510) of Chapter 3 of Division 2 for giving notice and selling under a writ of execution.(c) Apply the proceeds of the sale of the property in conformity with the judgment for sale.Ca.
