Section 23-37-208 - Supervisor's investigatory powers(a) For the purpose of any investigation, examination, inquiry, or proceeding under this chapter, the Supervisor of Savings and Loan Associations or any officer designated by the supervisor may administer oaths and affirmations, subpoena witnesses or documents, compel their attendance, take evidence, and require the production of any books, papers or correspondence, memoranda, agreements, or other documents which the supervisor deems relevant or material to the inquiry or examination.(b) In case of contumacy or refusal to obey a subpoena issued to any person, the Pulaski County Circuit Court, upon application by the supervisor, may issue to the person an order requiring him or her to appear before the supervisor or the officer designated by him or her, there to produce documentary evidence if so ordered or to give evidence concerning the examination, investigation, or inquiry.
