Section 2-20-207 - Record of cotton weighed(a) All persons weighing cotton for the public in this state and receiving compensation therefor shall be required to keep a book or record of all cotton weighed by them, giving: (1) The weight and marks of each bale;(2) For whom weighed; and(3) To whom sold where the purchaser is known to the weigher.(b) The book or record shall be kept subject to inspection by the public.Acts 1901, No. 77, § 1, p. 130; C. & M.
