Section 17-81-202 - Members - Qualifications(a) Each member of the Arkansas State Board of Chiropractic Examiners shall be a citizen of the United States, a resident of this state, and shall, before entering upon the duties of the office, take the oath prescribed by the Arkansas Constitution for state officers and shall file it with the Secretary of State who shall thereupon issue to each person so appointed a certificate of appointment.(b) Each professional member shall possess the following additional qualifications: (1) The member must be a graduate of a reputable school or college of chiropractic. However, no more than two (2) members of the board shall be graduates of the same school or college of chiropractic; and(2) The member must have been a regularly licensed and practicing chiropractor in Arkansas for a period of five (5) years next preceding the date of his or her appointment.Acts 1971, No. 706, § 5; 1979, No. 760, § 1; 1981, No. 51, § 1; A.S.A. 1947, § 72-419.
