Section 17-20-424 - Inspection of student work(a) Each barber college shall require that a patron not be released from a chair after being served by a student until all the work performed by the student has been thoroughly inspected and approved by a teacher manager instructor.(b) In each licensed school of barbering: (1) A school shall not advertise student work to the public through any medium unless the work is designated as student work; and(2) A school may allow a student to volunteer in charity or special events held outside the school if the following conditions are met:(A) The student agrees to participate;(B) The student is accompanied by and acts under the direct supervision of a licensed instructor; and(C) The school maintains the required student-to-teacher ratios.Amended by Act 2023, No. 465,§ 11, eff. 8/1/2023.Amended by Act 2019, No. 386,§ 5, eff. 7/24/2019.Amended by Act 2017, No. 1060,§ 30, eff. 8/1/2017.Acts 1961, No. 109, § 12; A.S.A. 1947, § 71-534.
