Section 16-21-1301 - Contingent expense allowances(a)(1) In lieu of any other contingent expense allowance now provided by law for the Prosecuting Attorney of the Eighth Judicial District-North and the Prosecuting Attorney of the Eighth Judicial District-South, the office of the Prosecuting Attorney of the Eighth Judicial District-North and the office of the Prosecuting Attorney of the Eighth Judicial District-South shall receive contingent expense reimbursement funds as provided in this section.(2) The contingent expense reimbursement funds authorized by this section shall be used solely for the purpose of reimbursing the costs of operating the office of the Prosecuting Attorney of the Eighth Judicial District-North and the office of the Prosecuting Attorney of the Eighth Judicial District-South.(3) Reimbursements shall be based on itemized documentation, which shall be retained for audit purposes.(b)(1)(A) The respective counties within the Eighth Judicial District-North shall contribute annually to the contingent expense fund such amount as shall be approved by the quorum courts of the respective counties within the prescribed minimum and maximum amounts set forth below: Nevada County ............................................................................ | Minimum $1,500 |
