Section 14-54-1505 - Dismissal for want of prosecution(a) If the complaint is filed by a citizen, it shall not be dismissed by the plaintiff for want of prosecution except upon a sworn statement made by the plaintiff setting forth the reasons why the action shall be dismissed and by dismissal ordered by the court.(b) If the action is brought by a citizen and the court finds there was no reasonable ground or cause for the action, costs shall be assessed against the plaintiff.Acts 1999, No. 1561, § 5.
