Section 44-2015 - Conservator; bond; powers and dutiesA. A temporary or permanent conservator shall be an officer of the court and shall give bond in the amount and conditioned as ordered by the court. The conservator has all the rights, powers and privileges of a receiver and is subject to the obligations, penalties and orders of the court to which receivers are subject.B. In all matters relating to the rights, powers, privileges, obligations and penalties of a conservator, and the powers of the court in respect thereto, equitable rights and remedies shall govern when applicable.C. A conservator appointed under this article shall act at the direction or with the approval of the court in the administration of the properties and affairs of a violator to conserve, protect and preserve, or to effect a reorganization of such properties and affairs, and to do all things necessary in furtherance thereof to protect the rights of persons having a direct interest in the properties and affairs of the violator.
