Section 32-2373 - Refusal to issue or renew license of school or agentA. The director may refuse to issue or renew the license for a school or an agent in any case in which the director determines that the licensee or applicant has not complied with, or has knowingly violated, any provision of this chapter or any rule adopted pursuant to this chapter by the director.B. An applicant or licensee who is aggrieved by the director's decision may make a written request to the department for a hearing within thirty days after service of notice of the refusal. If the applicant or licensee does not request a hearing within thirty days, the decision is final. If the applicant or licensee requests a hearing, the director shall give written notice to the applicant or licensee to appear at the hearing and show cause why the refusal to issue or renew the license should not be upheld. After consideration of the evidence presented at the hearing, the director shall serve notice in writing to the applicant or licensee of the director's findings and order.Amended by L. 2016, ch. 371,s. 21, eff. 8/5/2016.Amended by L. 2013, ch. 128,s. 10, eff. 9/13/2013.
