Section 15-1899 - Student identification cards; suicide prevention; contact information required; definitionA. Beginning July 1, 2021, if an institution of higher education issues identification cards to students, the institution of higher education shall include on each new identification card issued to a student at least one of the following: 1. The telephone number for a national suicide prevention lifeline.2. The telephone number for a national network of local crisis centers.3. A statement describing how to access a text-based emotional support service.4. The telephone number for a local suicide prevention hotline.B. An institution of higher education may include the information described in subsection A of this section on student identification cards by printing the information on, or by affixing a sticker that contains the information to, the identification cards.C. For the purposes of this section, "institution of higher education" means both: 1. A university under the jurisdiction of the Arizona board of regents.2.
