Section 41.06.005 - Jurisdiction over geothermal resources(a) The commission has jurisdiction under AS 41.06.005 - 41.06.060 over geothermal wells to prevent waste, to protect correlative rights, and to ensure public safety.(b) The Department of Natural Resources has jurisdiction under AS 41.06.005 - 41.06.060 over management of geothermal leases and units in the public interest and to effect development.Amended by SLA 2024, ch. 23,sec. 30, eff. 10/29/2024.
