Section 16.10.230 - Exemptions
AS 16.10.180 - 16.10.220 do not apply to
(1) the use of nets for fishing for or taking salmon for the purposes of scientific investigation authorized by state law; and(2) existing laws and regulations prohibiting the taking of salmon by means of nets on the high seas.
