Rule 15 - Petition for reinstatement(a) Petition for reinstatement of a case in the appellate court, after dismissal, shall be by petition to the appellate court, signed by counsel, stating the reasons, and supported by a showing, in writing, as may be essential. The petition shall be filed within 15 days after the order of dismissal has been entered and shall contain the points and authorities upon which petitioner relies. Rule 1.01 applies. A copy of such petition shall also be served on the counsel for opposing party. (b) Counsel for opposing party shall have 15 days after such service within which to file with the court any objections to the petition, covering the points and authorities upon which the opposing party relies. The opposing party shall also serve upon counsel for the petitioner a copy of the objections. (c) There shall be no oral argument on the petition and the objections, unless requested by the court. If the appeal is reinstated, the court will establish a new briefing schedule. If reinstatement of the appeal is denied, the case shall be closed.
