Const. art. IV, subsection 31 (amend. 85) gives the commission the authority to impose discipline on judges. Only the Supreme Court can suspend, remove, or order a judge retired. The commission is only empowered to admonish, reprimand, or censure a judge. If more serious discipline is called for, the Supreme Court must impose the discipline.
